Aminu Murtala Nyako is the Managing Director of Sebore International Farms Limited. He is an economist and public policy expert with vast experience in driving innovation in large-scale complex projects, designing global strategy and business development in emerging markets. He is a true thought leader, continually developing his understanding of how emerging trends are shaping business’ operations and successfully manages diverse teams in complex environments, to close deals and accelerate growth. Over the course of his career, Aminu has served as a Special Adviser on Social Development for the Social Investment Programmes of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (FMHDSD) since 2019. He continues to lead key initiatives related to enhancing Nigeria’s social protection system. He had a knack for creating strategic partnerships with development partners and private sector to foster strategic partnerships for the successful implementation of social development projects. He has worked in the United States International Labor Organization and worked in various capacities with Motir Consulting Services, United States. Being a passionately patriotic persona, he also served as Chief of Staff to the Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly of Nigeria. In 2020, he brilliantly conceptualized the development of the Sebore Agro-Industrial Free Trade Zone and singlehandedly piloted a program which commenced with the integration of 500 Small Holder Dairy Farmers into Sebore Dairy Factory. This initiative spiraled into a network of over 18,000 farmers and is still growing, even more so with the meritorious support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
